ANOTHER TAB

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This policy explains how Another Tab processes information through the browser extension, the website at anothertab.xyz, and the matching service at api.geturtix.com.

Information processed by the extension

Another Tab does not require an account. When you manually open the extension on a supported event page, it may process and send the following event information to the matching service:

  • performer or event title;
  • event date and time;
  • city and state;
  • the event page URL.

This information is used to identify the event and return available ticket offers. The extension also stores limited settings locally in your browser, such as appearance preferences and whether comparison is enabled on a particular site.

Technical and diagnostic information

The matching service may process standard server information such as IP address, request time, response status, and browser or network information for security, abuse prevention, rate limiting, and reliability.

When an event cannot be matched, non-personal event fields may be logged to improve event recognition and diagnose parsing problems.

Website analytics

The Another Tab website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and installation-button activity. Depending on your browser and settings, Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referral source, campaign parameters, and interactions with the website.

You can limit analytics through your browser's cookie and privacy controls or by using available Google Analytics opt-out tools.

Information we do not collect

Another Tab does not ask for your name, account password, payment-card details, or ticketing-site login credentials. We do not sell personal information or use event-page information for personalized advertising.

Seller links and affiliate relationships

Another Tab displays links to independent ticket sellers. When you choose a seller link, you leave Another Tab and the seller's own privacy policy applies. Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you complete a purchase. This does not change the seller price shown to you by Another Tab.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, security, analytics, and operation of the extension. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

Retention and security

Operational, diagnostic, and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for debugging, reliability, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance. We use reasonable technical measures designed to protect information in transit and at rest, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • You can disable Another Tab on an individual supported site in the extension settings.
  • You can remove the extension at any time through your browser.
  • You can clear locally stored extension settings through your browser.
  • You can restrict website analytics through browser privacy and cookie controls.

Children

Another Tab is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
